Key features and review of the Sony Ericsson W300

Sony Ericsson W300 is a compact and smart mobile phone introduced by Sony Ericsson in 2005. It is 47 x 90 x 24 mm in size and 94g in weighs. It is relatively a light handset comfortable to hold and lies well in ones hand. The phone comes with TFT 256K colors display with resolution of 128 x 160 pixels, which is sufficient for small phone like this. A second Mono display of resolution 80 x 101 dominates the front cover. To dial a number and write text message there is a numeric keypad with nice soft keys. You can also find a dedicated five-way joystick button centered below the display, specially to operate simple to use menu.

For better network connectivity the Sony Ericsson W300 supports Quad-band GSM 850/ GSM 900/ GSM 1800/ GSM 1900 MHz as well as Blue tooth, GPRS and Infrared. Along with built-in MP3/MPEG player and FM radio the phone offers many features such as; Polyphonic ring tones, vibration alert, SMS, EMS, MMS, Email, Built-in hands free, Alarm, Clock, Games, Polyphonic ring tones, Calculator, Organizer, Currency converter and phonebook where you can store up to 1000 records.

The Sony Ericsson W300 is also equipped with a VGA camera that can captures both still photos and QCIF videos. The phone comes with 20 MB of internal memory and can be easily expaned with extra memory card, but doesn't worry the phone bundled with 256 MB of card.

Sony Ericsson W300 is powered by Li-Po 900 mAh battery that will work up to 400 hours in standby mode and 9 hours of talks.
