Sony introduced their latest mobile phone model Sony CMD MZ5 with a lots of useful features like, Music playback, Answering machine, ring tones can be assigned to phonebook entries and much more. It is not only full of features but also compact measuring 49 x 90 x 30 mm and weighs 110g only. Sony CMD MZ5 is powered by a Li-ion 620 mAh standard battery, which has capacity to work up to 120 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 3 hours 20 min and takes 105 minutes to full charge.

The Sony CMD MZ5 comes with Grayscale graphic display with the resolution of 72 x 96 pixels, which is not very high resolution but normal for small mobile phone. Sony CMD MZ5 is comfortable to hold and lies well in ones hand. The plastic keypad has appropriate placed keys makes the phone easier to dial. The unique feature of the phone is its 64 MB of memory stick, which will store plenty of songs. The phone offers 27 monophonic ring tones, vibration alert, to control the menus there is a jog dial, SMS, Clock, Alarm, Games, T9, Calculator, Scheduler, Answering machine and spacious phonebook, where up to 500 phone numbers can be stored. Like previous model you can also assign ring tones to phonebook entries. For better connectivity the phone supports Dual-band GSM 900/1800 MHz.
