Key features and review of the Sony CMD J70

Along with CMD J7, Sony launched another phone of this series with all the same features. This compact and attractive phone comes at 44 x 113 x 21 mm and weighs 92g. The Sony CMD J7 comes with Grayscale graphic display with the resolution of 92 x 96 pixels, which is not very high resolution but normal for small mobile phone. The left side of the unit holds a jog dial to operate menus. Sony CMD J7 is comfortable to hold and lies well in hand. Numeric keypad is good, the keys are well placed.

Sony CMD J7 supports for Dual-band GSM 900/1800 MHz and offers many features such as; WAP Browser, Polyphonic ring tones, Vibration alerts, SMS with sounds and pictures, Built-in hands free, Downloadable Wallpapers, T9, Clock, Alarm, Games, Calculator Scheduler and Phonebook where you can store up to 500 records. Ring tones can be assigned to phonebook entries.

The CMD J7 is powered by a Li-ion 650 mAh standard battery, which has capacity to work up to 200 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 4 hours.
