The Philips S800 handset is a trendy, good looking and compact handset with clamshell feature. The dimensions of the phone are 43 x 87 x 23 mm and weighs 80g. The phone is powered by a Li-Ion 720 mAh battery that will work up to 180 hours in standby mode and 3 hours of talks. Philips S800 is equipped with a large 160 x 128 pixels CSTN screen that displays 65,000 colors. A second external CSTN display, 4096 colors of resolution 96 x 64 pixels dominates the front cover. Just after opening the front cover you will get a numeric keypad that has soft keys making the phone easier to dial. you can also find four-way navigation buttons centered below the display.

The Philips S800 is equipped with a VGA camera that can capture both still images and videos (128 x 104). The phone also has built-in MP3.
