Key features and review of the NEC N600i

NEC N600i has a very standard design phone comes with very basic features what is most looking by low end user. Overall most of the flip phone of NEC has similar look, NEC's designer has nothing done great to improved the version. The phone has received mixed response from the user. The phone is 48 x 95 x 25 mm in size and weighs 113g, normal weight phone that easily fit into your hand and slipped into your pockets.

The other things you will notice is the phone has flip to prevent any accidental dialing when store in the pocket. Its keypad is soft, so pressing a numeric key is now comfortable and also its keypad has ergonomically designed so that you can take maximum use out of its keypad. It also has user-friendly Manu for user-friendly operation. The phone has four-way navigation to further reduce your navigation time.

For network connectivity, NEC N600i supports for Tri-band GSM 900/GSM 1800/GSM 1900 MHz. The phone has many features such as GPRS, 3G technology, Blue tooth, UBS for downloading content from the Internet of from PC, Java DoJa 2.5, MP3 player, T9, Schedule, To Do list, Calculator, Voice memo, Currency converter, Downloadable pictures, 72-channels polyphony, SMS, EMS, MMS, Email, Integrated hands free, Games, Alarm, Clock, Calendar, Schedule and phonebook, where you can store up to 500 records.

The N600i has inbuilt 1280 x 1024 pixels, digital camera which is very good resolution for whom who wanted to adding your images on to the web or taking prints. 1.3 Mega pixels is good for taking print on standard 6 x 4 photo size. But always remember that higher the resolution, the sharper is the images when zoom in. The N600i have internal 20 MB memory to store your photos, videos, applications and game. Memory can be further increased with the help of microSD.

The phone is powered by a standard 1000 mAh Li-Ion battery with an expected stand by of 200 hours and a talk time of 3.2 hours, which is not upto the mark.
