Key features and review of the NEC DB2000

NEC DB2000 has the most common designed and features that are generally found in the early generation mobiles phone. The phone has very simple and basic functions and for these user who only wanted to use basic features of the phone i.e. receiving, dialing and messaging. NEC DB2000 is introduced in 1999. It is 54 x 130 x 18 mm in size and 130g in weighs, slightly on higher sides but enough for the this phone. The phone will not hold in your hand for too long because it relatively bulky, you have to store the phone to your pockets.

The NEC DB2000 equipped with Monochrome display with resolution of 4 x 12 char, which is not very high but is normal for small phone like this. It has some of the common features such as SMS, Vibration alert, Scratchpad, Alarm, Clock, Games, Monophonic ring tones, Calculator and phonebook. Audio quality on the NEC DB2000 is crystal clear, and signal quality is good.

The phone is powered by 900 mAh Li-Ion standard batteries, which has capacity to work up to 250 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 4 hours, which is sufficient for the user. Overall the phone is for the low end user who believes in simplicity and wanted to use these phone for basic purpose only.
