The LG F2300 is a trendy, good looking and compact handset with clamshell design. The dimensions of the phone are 88 x 46 x 24 mm and weighs 91g. The phone is powered by a Li-ion 1000 mAh battery that will work up to 200 hours in standby mode and 3 hours of talks. LG F2300 is equipped with a 160 x 128 pixels TFT screen that displays 65,000 colors. A second external OLED 65K colors display of resolution 96 x 96 pixels dominates the front cover. There is a numeric keypad that has soft keys making the phone easier to dial. You can also find four-way navigation button centered below the display to operate easy to use menu.

LG F2300 has in-built VGA camera that can captures still photos up to 640 x 480 pixels. The phone offers 30 pre-loaded polyphonic ring tones that you can select as per your choice. And you can also download more ring tones from internet or friend's mobile phone. The phone also has a composer where you can create and edit new ring tones.

LG F2300 supports for Dual-band GSM 900/GSM 1800 MHz for network connectivity as well as supports GPRS.
