Key features and review of the Haier P7

Haier P7 is a unique and user-friendly cell phone. It is 27 x 150 x 18 mm in size and weighs 65g. It is too light and feels very trendy and compact. It is powered by a Li-ion 600 mAh standard battery, which has capacity to work up to 140 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 3 hours.

The Haier P7 comes with TFT 65K colors display with the resolution of 64 x 128 pixels, which is not very high but is normal for small phone like this. Unlike other Pen phone of Haier it has VGA camera that can captures images up to 640 x 480 pixels, a good resolution for email and other web based applications. This ultra-slim phone is comfortable to hold and use. The numeric keypad is also good with well placed keys. There is a separate four-way navigation button to control easy to use menu. It has one unique feature, you can use it as a dicta phone that has the capacity to records for 90 minutes of voice recording.

Haier P7 supports for Dual-band GSM 900/ GSM 1800 MHz as well as GPRS and a range of applications such as WAP, 40-channels polyphonic ring tones, Vibration alert, SMS, MMS, Games, Alarm, Clock, Calculator, Voice memo, T9 and phonebook where one can store up to 300 phone numbers. For volume control you can find a jog dial to left side of the phone. The phone also comes with 3 MB of internal memory that is dynamically shared between various applications.

Possibly the most unusual design amongst all current cell phones the Haier P7 is really a nice handset. The battery unfortunately is a bit weak but an additional battery in the box makes up for this.
