Key features and review of the Ericsson GH 688

Looks like GH688, the Ericsson GH688 has a simple design and look. It measures 49 x 130 x 23 mm and weighs 160g. It is heavy handset but with good plastic body makes it an attractive look. For viewing the number when some one is calling it has alphanumeric display with the resolution of 3 x 12 characters, which is standard resolution for more mobile phones of this category. To dial a number and send text messages it has numeric keypad with nice keys and that are made off plastic.

Ericsson GH688 supports for Single-band 900 MHz and comes with most common features that includes 10 Monophonic ring tones, SMS, Alarm, Clock, Calculator and a spacious phonebook where one can store up to 99 phone numbers.

The phone is powered by a NiMH 915 mAh standard battery which will work up to 2 hours 15 min in talk time mode and 37 hours in standby mode. Overall, the Ericsson GH688 is nice but it is a little heavy.
