Key features and review of the Ericsson GF 788e

Ericsson GF788e is another new phone of GF series and offers all the features of predecessor. It measures 49 x 105 x 24 mm in size and weighs 135g. It is a very slender and compact cell phone. It is powered by a NiMH 550 mAh standard battery, which has capacity to work up to 60 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 3 hours. Ericsson GF788e battery takes 115 minutes to full charge.

The Ericsson GF788e comes with alphanumeric display with the resolution of 1 x 10 Characters, which is worst, feature for a mobile phone. But, it is acceptable with this phone because it is an entry-level phone. It has nice numerical keypad which is protected from fron cover to protect from dust, direct sunlight and rain.

For network connectivity the Ericsson GF788e supports Dual-band GSM 900/ GSM 1800 MHz. As we discussed that it is a basic phone, so it comes with simple features such as; 10 Monophonic ring tones, composer, Phonebook that allows to store up to 99 phone numbers, SMS, Alarm, Clock and simple to use menu. It is available in four colors.
