Key features and review of the Ericsson GA 628

Identical to predecessor GA318, the Ericsson GA628 has standard design and look. Only good thing with this phone is that it is less heavy fro previous model. It weighs 160g and dimensions 49 x 130 x 28 mm. It comes with alphanumeric display screen that will display only 1 x 12 characters, for a mobile phone this is worst resolution according to us. It has numerical keypad and keys are also well placed, but to hard to press because made of hard rubber.

For network connectivity it supports single-band 900 MHz, but lacks some important features; No vibration mode, No polyphonic ring tones, No games, No Alarm, No Clock and No phonebook. Only you will get Monophonic ring tones and SMS facility. There is nice feature; you can replace the front cover according to your choice.

Powered by a NiMH 1000 mAh standard battery the Ericsson GA628 will work up to 83 hours in standby mode and 2 hours 10 min in talk time mode.

It may be a good phone for first time user, but for youngster and advance user excuse!
