Key features and review of the Ericsson A2618

Ericsson A2618 is an entry-level mobile phone that was launched in 2000. This easy to use phone provides all the basic features, but don't expect funky and advance features. It measures 51 x 131 x 25 mm and weighs 140g. Because it is too wide in size it is not comfortable to hold and use. It is powered by a Li-Ion 700 mAh standard battery, which has capacity to work up to 195 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 7 hours.

It is equipped with a Monochrome graphic screen that displays 4 x 12 characters, which is ideal for this range of phones. We found a Numerical keypad with well spaced keys placed just below the display and are comfortable in use. Ericsson A2618 supports for Dual-band GSM 900/ GSM 1800 MHz for network connectivity. It comes with other features such as; Monophonic ring tones, SMS, Colors Exchangeable covers, Clock, Alarm, Games, Voice dial, Voice answer, custom pictures and phonebook, where you can store up to 99 records.

Ericsson A2618 is easy to use mobile phone, its battery is too good, its signals are superb, and voice quality is excellent. It is a very good phone, but too big. As compared to Nokia it is cheap also.
