Key features and review of the Bird S288

Slim and user-friendly the Bird S288 is one of the lightest mobile phone in market. Weighing only 60g the phone is also small in size at 42 x 105 x 11 mm only. It is too compact and if we are talking about features, it doesn't provide you advance features. So, if you want to use your phone is just for normal call receiving and sends purpose, it is sufficient for you. But, for advance features such as camera, MMS, vide and MP3 you should go for another high-end phone.

The Bird S288 incorporates a CSTN Monochrome graphic display with the resolution of 80 x 112 pixel, which is normal resolution for this range of phones. The numeric keypad nice, keys are made of good plastic and comfortable to press and easy to dial. To set and controls the various settings from the menu there is dedicated two-way navigation button.

Bird S288 supports Dual-band GSM 900/ GSM 1800 MHz for network connectivity. It comes with all the basic requirement of a phone, such as 10 Monophonic ring tones, Vibration mode, SMS, Games, Alarm, Clock, Calculator and Phonebook, where maximum 300 phone numbers can be stored.

Bird S288 is powered by a Li-Ion 700 mAh rechargeable battery, which takes 95 minutes to charge and work up to 200 hrs in standby mode and 2 hrs 30 min in talk time mode. The phone is available in three colors; Blue, Red and Grey.
