Key features and review of the Bird S288 Plus

The Bird S288 Plus is an updated version of Bird S288 and incorporates all the features of previous model. It is also slim and user-friendly and light in weight. Weighing just 60g the phone is also small in size at 44 x 103 x 12 mm only. It is too compact and if we are talking about features, it doesn't provide you advance features. So, if you want to use your phones is just for normal call receiving and send purpose, it is sufficient for you. But, for advance features such as camera, MMS, vide and MP3 you should go for another high-end phone.

The Bird S288 Plus incorporates a CSTN Monochrome graphic display with the resolution of 80 x 112 pixels, which is normal resolution for this range of phones. The numeric keypad nice, keys are made of good plastic and comfortable to press and easy to dial. To set and controls the various settings from the menu there is dedicated two-way navigation button.

Bird S288 Plus supports Dual-band GSM 900/ GSM 1800 MHz for network connectivity. It comes with all the basic requirement of a phone, such as 10 Monophonic ring tones, Vibration mode, SMS, Games, Alarm, Clock, Calculator and Phonebook, where maximum 300 phone numbers can be stored.

Bird S288 Plus is powered by a Li-Ion 700 mAh rechargeable battery, which takes 95 minutes to charge and work up to 200 hrs in standby mode and 2 hrs 30 min in talk time mode. The phone is available in three colors; Blue, Red and Grey.

Bird S288 Plus is a stylish and beautiful phone, but there is some drawback; ring tone volume is very slow, SMS has only 70 characters which is very little compared to the other phones.
