Key features and review of the BenQ-Siemens E81

The BenQ-Siemens E81 is a very compact and lightweight 3G phone. Its dimensions are 99.8 x 46.7 x 16.7 mm and weighs 90g (including battery). It is relatively light weight and feels slender and compact in ones hand. BenQ-Siemens E81 is powered by a Li-ion 900 mAh standard battery, which has capacity to work up to 300 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 5 hours.

The BenQ-Siemens E81 comes with a 1.8" TFT 256K colors display with resolution of 176 x 220 pixels, which is sufficient for this range of mobile phones. We also find a dedicated camera button to side of the cell phone. There is nice LED which notifies users of new messages, active network and missed calls. It has nice keypad with appropriate placed keys to comfortable to dial a number and write messages. You can also find a five-way navigation button centered below the display.

The BenQ-Siemens E81 comes with an excellent video-calling feature & the user can use the camera on the back of the handset to take part in a video call. With built in 3G technologies user can enjoy live streams of video & audio. It is also equipped with a 1.3 mega pixel camera with built in flash feature to make sure the photos are sharp and clear. MP3 and MPEG4 are both formats which can be stored on 16 MB of internal memory and playback on the BenQ-Siemens E81.

BenQ-Siemens E81 supports for Quad-band GSM 900/GSM 1800/GSM 1900/UMTS as well as GPRS, WAP and a range of applications such as Java, 72-channels polyphonic ring tones, Vibration alert, spacious Phonebook, Photo call, T9, Reminder and Organizer.
