Key features and review of the Alcatel One Touch 715

Slim and lightweight the Alcatel One Touch 715 has a unique and standard design for these class handsets. It is 43 x 116 x 20 mm in size and only 88g in weighs. It is very light and feels comfortable to hold and use. It is an excellent phone and has a great titanium body. One Touch 715 comes with Grayscale graphic display with blue backlight with resolution of 100 x 150 pixels, which is standard resolution for a mobile phone. It has zoom function that enables you to see your sms texts in two different sizes. A landscape function enables you to view your calendar and the games in a horizontal way opposed to the upright normal view.

Like other Alcatel phones it has also beautiful numeric keypad that offers appropriately spaced keys and comfortable in use. You can also find a five-way joystick button centered below the display. Alcatel One Touch 715 supports for Dual-band GSM 900/ GSM 1800 MHz as well as GPRS, and a range of applications such as 16-channels polyphonic ringtones, which can be easily set through the menu, Vibration alert, SMS, Voice commands, Voice memo, Alarm, Clock, Games, built-in dictionary (T9), Scheduler, Calculator, Currency converter, Built-in hands free, Photo call and spacious phonebook where 800 records can be stored.

Alcatel One Touch 715 is powered by a 780 mAh Li-Po standard battery that has capacity to work up to 320 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 5 hrs. The all the features are nice and the battery is great, but the joystick is a piece of crap. On the one hand it is noisy, on the other hand it is often inaccurate.

The quality is absolutely brilliant, it is true coloured screen looks good, but the 4 grey shades are very clear.

It is the best phone ever, but its price is very high.
