Key features and review of the Alcatel One Touch 511

Alcatel One Touch 511 is a great phone. It combines a perfect size and design with nice features. It measures 42 x 97 x 20 mm and weighs 75g only. With rich features and ergonomics One Touch 511 is the smallest and lightest on the market. It supports dual band GSM 900/GSM 1800 MHz. It comes with monochrome graphic display with resolution of 64 x 96 pixels, which is not very high but is normal for this category of phones.

It comes with a simple and user-friendly menu in style with other recent Alcatel handsets, although two things that can be annoying are the navi key and every message you send it saves a copy meaning you have to keep deleting them. You can also find a two-way navigation buttons centered below the display.

Powered by a 600 mAh Lithium-ion battery the Alcatel One Touch 511 offers lot of features that includes 30 Polyphonic ring tones, Vibration alert, Clock, Alarm, T9, Voice memo, Voice dial and Phonebook. It has a diary to put personal numbers.

The Alcatel one Touch 511 has excellent features, but there are some downside of the phone is:

* The sound is very poorer, you may record memo and compose but they come out insensitive and very jagged loudness.
* There is no way you can put a stored phone number in your SMS, you must type the number yourself if you want to send it via SMS
* The manual is badly written.

The good thing is its lightweight and looks pretty unique. Overall, The Alcatel One Touch 511 is an excellent phone.
