Key features and review of the Alcatel One Touch 153

Alcatel One Touch 153 is a simple but attractive looking cell phone. It is the first dual band GSM mobile phone from Alcatel that offers GSM 900/GSM 1800 band. It measures 46 x 107 x 20 mm and weighs 89g, it is light and small enough to slip into a pocket and easy to carry. It comes with Grayscale graphic display with resolution of 64 x 112 pixels, which is not very high but normal for small phone like this. A numerical keypad placed below the graphic display offers appropriately spaced keys and is pleasantly comfortable in use. You can also find a simple two-way navigation buttons centered below the display.

Unlike previous model this time Alcatel made beautiful changes, it has 16-channels Polyphonic ring tones that are much better than traditional Monophonic ring tones. One can choose from a list of 15 ring tones and set according to choice. The ring tones can be set through easy to control menu options. If you are in a meeting and do not want to someone disturb you, just set your phone in Vibration mode. It has various other features such as built-in dictionary (T9), Calculator, Currency converter, Built-in hands free, Calendar, SMS and a spacious phone book that allows storing upto 100 entries.

Alcatel One Touch 153 is powered by a 700 mAh Li-Ion standard rechargeable battery that has capacity to work up to 120 hours in standby mode and talk time up to 7 hours. Alcatel One Touch 153 battery takes 105 minutes to full charge.

Alcatel One Touch 153 ensures a thin and light phone, which is ergonomically comfortable. The only negative point we would like to say that ring tones are very undescribably low.
