Key features and review of the Alcatel HC 800

Alcatel HC 800 is a mid-range single band GSM 900 handset, which is launched by Alcatel in 1997 alomg with HC 1000. Both the phones offers almost same features. Like HC 1000, the HC 800 also measures 143 x 60 x 23 mm and weighs 172g. It offers Alphanumeric Monochrome display with the resolution of 64 x 96 pixels, which is not a high resolution, but normal for this range of cell phones.

To alert you when some one calling it has Monophonic ring tones, this can be set according to your choice through the menu of the phone. It doesn't offers too much features as you find in today's stylish and funky handset, but it has basic needs of the phone such as SMS facility that allows to send and receive text messages. The plastic keypad of the phone has good placed keys, with the comfortable center keys; makes the phone easier to dial. If you do not want to press the number again and again it offers phone book where 100 records can be stored.

Powered by a 600 mAh NiMH standard rechargeable battery the Alcatel HC 800 has capacity to work up to 28 hours in standby mode and 1.2 hours in talk time mode. Alcatel HC 800 battery takes 60 minutes to full charge.

Alcatel HC 800 is a startup mobile phone, which may be not fulfill your all the requirement but if your use is normal for call receive and send then it is Ok.

Like HC 1000 it is a heavy hand set, but its stunning blue color will appeal any body.
